The Power of the Pen: 3 Ways to Keep Your Creative Tool Yours

You may not have thought of a pen as a powerful tool, but it is. Ever hear of the saying, "The pen is mightier than the sword?" English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton coined the term in 1839, meaning ideas and words are more powerful and important than violence. In other words, no pun intended, one’s philosophy can have a deeper impact than physical force.

Pretty interesting right but why are we telling you this? Well, because a pen is way more than just a pen. We use and lose them all the time, wondering where the ones we have came from. There are those favorite pens that help us write neater, so we think, those that don’t smudge, or some that just look cool. It would be nice to be able to keep the special pens ours, yes?

Claim Your Pen

You can’t really write your name on a pen, especially if it’s the only pen you have. A permanent marker could work but it would rub off and it’s not easy to write on such a small space. So what’s a pen enthusiast supposed to do?

Let us introduce you to the Mini Rectangle Name Label. Here’s a picture of what awaits you and your pen friends.

This is especially handy for school-aged children. They’re certainly attached to some strange things and once their lucky pen goes missing, the world could be coming to an end. While we have a bit before school starts again, it’s never too early to be prepared. If you're mind is set to camp mode this summer, these labels are fabulous and we mean fabulous!

The best part about these labels is they don’t peel off, especially since your hand could be rubbing against it, depending upon the location of the label. If you do want to remove it, there is no annoying sticky residue. Don’t you just hate that? Us too.

Kids, and adults, love personalizing their labels and it doesn’t end with pens. Scissors, electronics…you name it, you can put these on anything. If you love these little guys, you’ll love the bigger option. Yep, Label Land has you…and your pens covered.

Give Your Pen a Home

While the concept of putting things back is quite foreign for kids, and some adults, if you have a safe place for your pen, guess what? It will always be where you put it and no one else will swipe it. If we all put our keys back on the hook, we wouldn’t spend wasted minutes looking for them multiple times a day. Not that we know anything about that…yeah right.

It can be a drawer, purse, backpack, or car. It doesn’t really matter, as long as you can remember where your hiding space is. Think how many times you hid something and then could not for the life of you remember where you hid it. We can’t be the only ones.

Give your Pens some Friends

It’s pretty rare to get a pen back that someone borrows. Usually it ends up used by many never to be seen again. Instead of “sharing is caring” it’s more like “sharing is daring”.  Whenever you bring your favorite pen out with you, bring along some pen friends and don’t let anyone use it. This way, if you never see the writing tool again, it won’t be as devastating as losing your best friend's pen.

Pens are like socks and hair ties. You can never have too many because they’re always mysteriously disappearing.

Remember to take great care of your pen, especially since it’s such powerful tool to express yourself. Tell us the power of your pen and comment ⬇️.
