You may not have thought of a pen as a powerful tool, but it is. Ever hear of the saying, "The pen is mightier than the sword?" English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton coined the term in 1839, meaning ideas and words are more powerful and important than violence. In other words, no pun intended, one’s philosophy can have a deeper impact than physical force.
Pretty interesting right but why are we telling you this? Well, because a pen is way more than just a pen. We use and lose them all the time, wondering where the ones we have came from. There are those favorite pens that help us write neater, so we think, those that don’t smudge, or some that just look cool. It would be nice to be able to keep the special pens ours, yes?

You can’t really write your name on a pen, especially if it’s the only pen you have. A permanent marker could work but it would rub off and it’s not easy to write on such a small space. So what’s a pen enthusiast supposed to do?

It’s pretty rare to get a pen back that someone borrows. Usually it ends up used by many never to be seen again. Instead of “sharing is caring” it’s more like “sharing is daring”. Whenever you bring your favorite pen out with you, bring along some pen friends and don’t let anyone use it. This way, if you never see the writing tool again, it won’t be as devastating as losing your best friend's pen.
Pens are like socks and hair ties. You can never have too many because they’re always mysteriously disappearing.
